National Clean Air day in Iran

The 18th of January equal to 29th of Dey in the Persian calender is Iran’s National Clean Air day. Since I’m a memeber of the Gree Desert Society which is an environmental NGO made up of activists like me, I took part in a rather small public demonstration we had in Kashan’s downtown with about a hundred preschool children holding up signs opposing against air pollution.

These were the words of the kids (of course translated into English they don’t quite rhyme…)

Stop the cars, your children will need air / Our mother earth is sufficating

Unfortunately I had forgotten to take my Camera along so here are a few photos I took with my mobile phone:
